World Bank employees in a
16 day Hunger Strike
November 25 - December 10

Day 1: “We are in a Hunger Strike demanding an End to Workplace Violence, real Justice and Accountability”

Day 8 : “Our spirits remain strong yet our bodies begin to debilitate... we remain hopeful for Justice though appalled at the Institutional indifference...”

Day 16 : “We’ve been in a Hunger Strike for 16 Days, and our rights continue to be violated... the right to work in a safe environment, free from intimidation and retaliation. As survivors of workplace GBV, we demand real change, when will Justice and Accountability truly take place at the WBG?”
